23rd April, 2015
Hi Friends!
Warm greetings from CCPI.
I happy to make the preliminary announcement of the 16th CCPI
Annual Conference to be held at Bangalore. The dates are : 9,10 & 11 of October 2015. The venue
will be Monfort College, Bangalore. Theme will be announced later. Preparations
and planning of the conference has commenced.
The 15th Conference of CCPI held at Kerala
had the greatest number of participants. Many new members have joined us
after the conference.
On 19th May
2015 a Regional Gathering of CCPI members of Bangalore area will be held at
Monfort College. I will
be attending the gathering in which a plan of action of the 16th
CCPI conference prepared by the Monfort College committee will be
presented. We must now strive to make
the participation much better as Bangalore has many MSc students studying for
Psychology/Counseling in the region.
The membership drive, I believe, has to be intensified to
make CCPI a powerful organization to enhance the Community Mental Health
programs in India. There are many Catholic Psychologists waiting to join our
group. I request the Life Members to spare a little time motivating our post
graduate Catholic psychologists to take
life membership with CCPI. Those of you who have not sent a Photo for ID please
send the same at your earliest convenience.
It is recommended that
every region arranges a get-to-gather for the members. “Wake up the World” the theme of the Year of the Consecrated could be discussed in the meet.
Rev.Fr.Kuriakose
Pallikunnel SDB, the former President of CCPI, is offering the Thanksgiving Holy Eucharist in
connection with his Sacerdotal
Silver Jubilee at 10.A.M. on Saturday May 2nd 2015 at
St.Francis Xavier’s Forane Church, Pattikkad, Thrissur, Kerala. Let us offer
our prayerful greetings to him (Mob.9496003338). Jubilarian’s invitation is
attached.
Wishing you all the best in your healing ministry,
Yours Sincerely,
Rev.Dr.Jose Puthenveed
Secretary, CCPI
